Günter Klann

Günter Klann (born July 29, 1942 in Wusterbarth , Pomerania ) is a German athlete who - starting for the GDR - won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1966 with the 4 x 400 meter relay (3: 05.7 min , together with Jochen Both , Wilfried Weiland , and Michael Zerbes ). In the 400-meter run of these European championships, he was eliminated in the preliminary run.

Günter Klann started for the ASK Potsdam . His best placement at the GDR championships was second place in 1967, and he also won several championship titles with the ASK Potsdam team. Klann set his best performance of 46.2 s in 1968. In his playing days he was 1.87 m tall and 83 kg.
