Günter Krinetzki
Günter Krinetzki (born February 3, 1929 in Berlin ; † April 20, 1986 ) was a German biblical scholar .
Krinetzki entered the Benedictine Abbey of Neresheim in 1951 and studied in Beuron and Rome. He later resigned from the Benedictine order and became a secular priest .
From 1978 until his death in 1986 he was Professor of the Old Testament and Hebrew Language at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Passau . The Song of Songs was one of his main research interests .
