Günter Nebelung

Günter Nebelung (born April 7, 1906 in Stettin ; † February 22, 1999 in Bergisch Gladbach ) was a German lawyer.

Life

Nebelung attended schools in Beuthen and Breslau, where he passed the Abitur. He studied law at the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelms University and became a member of the Corps Silesia in 1925 . After completing his studies, he was awarded a Dr. iur. PhD. In 1938 he became the syndic of the Silesian Provincial Fire Society in Breslau. In November 1939 he became Reich Commissioner for Pricing, but was drafted into the military soon after. After the end of the Second World War, Nebelung became director of the state fire insurance institute in Braunschweig. From 1952 until his retirement in 1971 he was director of the General Association of the German Insurance Industry in Cologne and a member of the Presidium of the General Association of the Insurance Industry.
