Günter Semjank
Günter Semjank (* 1949 ; † March 19, 1995 in Kirschau ) was a German television announcer.
Life
Günter Semjank initially worked as a lower school and music teacher at the Artur Becker Polytechnic School in Spremberg and at the Kirschau Polytechnic School in Upper Lusatia , where he also directed the school choir there. At the beginning of the 1980s he switched to GDR television as an announcer , where he also read the news from the current camera and announced television programs. As a protagonist, he also took part in the program A House Full of Music .
After switching to MDR, he worked as a speaker on various programs for mdr-aktuell until autumn 1994 . He died in 1995 in his hometown of Kirschau.
