Günter Srowig (born September 13, 1946 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The striker Günter Srowig was active between 1971 and 1974 for SVA Gütersloh in the then second-class Regionalliga West and played 88 games for East Westphalia, with which he missed the qualification for the newly created 2nd Bundesliga in 1974 . He then moved to Arminia Bielefeld , who could qualify for the new division. Srowig made his second division debut on August 3, 1974 at the game against Borussia Dortmund , where he also scored his first second division goal with the equalizer. Srowig played in Bielefeld from 1974 to 1976 and scored eight goals in 57 second division games. In the summer of 1976 he left the Bielefelder Alm and returned to the SVA Gütersloh.
