Maxime Godart (born October 2, 1999 in Compiègne ) is a French actor . He gained international fame primarily through his title role as little Nick in the 2009 film of the same name .

Life

Maxime Godart was born in 1999 as the son of Alexandre and Florence Godart in the northern French city of Compiègne and at the age of eight attended acting courses for the first time at the Center Culturel Yves Guyon in Noyon , about 30 kilometers north of his native city. The family became aware of an advertisement on the Internet that they were looking for the main character for a film adaptation of the children's book series Little Nick, directed by Laurent Tirard . After he was initially not considered by Tirard with the role, he was later successfully cast in the role of little Nick, with the film celebrating its premiere in French cinemas shortly before his 10th birthday on September 20, 2009.

In the following year, the young actor, whose voice was taken over by Edgar Sehr in the German version of Der kleine Nick, was highly sought after.
