Günter Würdemann

Günter Würdemann (* 1930 ; † January 19, 2007 in Chemnitz ) was a German graphic artist. He became known through numerous press drawings and the weatherman Quakel , which from 1952 was printed almost daily in the Free Press for 37 years and which he drew in alternation with Heini Scheffler .

Life

Würdemann worked as a press illustrator for Volksstimme (later the Free Press ) from the late 1950s . In addition to landscapes and city motifs, he also made portraits and caricatures. As a pensioner he also made drawings for the Sächsisches Genossenschaftsblatt in the 1990s .
