Günter Waluga

Günter Waluga (born April 8, 1954 in Schiffweiler ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

education and profession

In the years 1970 to 1972 Günter Waluga completed an administration training, from 1972 to 1975 training for the career of the higher service of the general administration. He then worked as an administrative officer at the municipality of Schiffweiler until 2004, most recently as head of the office.

politics

Günter Waluga joined the SPD in 1972. He took on various positions in the Schiffweiler community association, of which he has been chairman since 1999. Waluga's political work focuses on foreigner issues, data protection and municipal issues.

Günter Waluga was a member of the thirteenth state parliament of Saarland from 2004 to 2009 . He was a member of the submissions as well as home affairs, data protection, family, women and sport .

He has been a member of the state parliament again since April 1, 2011, when he replaced the outgoing MP Cornelia Hoffmann-Bethscheider .

Günter Waluga is Roman Catholic, married and has two children.
