Günther Budelmann

Günther Budelmann (born November 26, 1903 in Hamburg ; † December 3, 1976 there ) was a German cardiologist and professor at the University of Hamburg .

Budelmann passed his Abitur in Hamburg and studied in Tübingen, Kiel and Munich. In Tübingen he became a member of the Saxonia Association . In 1928 he was approved and began his career in Hamburg-Eppendorf. In 1942 he became chief physician at AK St. Georg , after a stopover in Hamburg-Rissen in 1953 chief physician and medical director at AK Harburg . Since 1933 he taught at the University of Hamburg and was responsible for the advanced training of doctors in Hamburg for decades. In November 1933 he signed the German professors' confession of Adolf Hitler . The professional association of German internists , after which he was first chairman, awards the Günther Budelmann Medal as recognition .
