Günther Förster

Walter Martin Günther Förster (born April 12, 1917 in Bad Kösen , † June 21, 1980 ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Career

Förster studied law from 1935 to 1939 and graduated in 1940 with a doctorate. From 1950 to 1963 he was assessor and head of various tax offices in North Rhine-Westphalia, then from 1963 to 1970 at the Oberfinanzdirektion Münster . After working as a ministerial director in the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Finance, he was appointed President of the Regional Finance Directorate in Münster in 1972 and remained in office until he retired in 1979.
