Günther Friedrich Nolting
Günther Friedrich Nolting (born April 7, 1950 in Minden ; † August 13, 2008 in Berlin ) was a German politician .
Life
In 1972 Nolting became a member of the FDP . In 1987 he was elected to the eleventh German Bundestag via the North Rhine-Westphalian state list of his party in constituency 135 (Minden-Lübbecke I) . Within Parliament he was a member of the Petitions Committee until the end of the 14th electoral term . Until the end of the 15th electoral term he was a member of the Defense Committee and security policy spokesman for his group . In 2005, Nolting resigned from the Bundestag because he no longer ran in the early elections of the year. He died in August 2008 after a brief, serious illness.
