Günter Panske
Günter Panske (also Günther, * 1945 ) is a German literary translator.
Life
Günter Panske translates from English. He has translated into German novels by authors such as Norman Bogner , Colleen McCullough , Norman Mailer , Joy Fielding , Ken Follett , Philippa Gregory , Harold Robbins , two novels by Philip Roth , Jim Thompson , Barry Unsworth and Gore Vidal . He translated in 1984 the autobiography of Roman Polanski and 1994 Long Walk to Freedom by Nelson Mandela .
His translations were also the basis for audio book editing.
