Albinas Tebėra

Albinas Tebėra (born December 19, 1951 in Juknonys near Žiežmariai , Kaišiadorys Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian forest scientist , director of a forest college in Girionys .

Life

After graduating from secondary school Žiežmariai in 1969, Tebėra graduated from 1969 to 1974 with a degree with distinction as a forestry engineer at the forestry faculty of Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija near Kaunas and from 1976 to 1979 the traineeship at the Lithuanian Forest Institute . From 1974 to 1976 he was a research assistant at the Forestry Institute of Lithuania and from 1979 to 1983 at the LŽŪA Forest Faculty . In 1981 Tebėra received his doctorate on the subject of "Įvairaus tankumo pušynų našumo ir prekingumo modeliavimas" as a candidate in agricultural sciences at the Institute of Forest Technology in Bryansk (in south-western Russia ).

He taught as a lecturer at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija . From 1989 to 1990 he headed the forestry chair at the LŽŪA . From 1990 to 2000 he was dean and from 2000 to 2002 vice dean of the forest faculty of Lietuvos žemės ūkio universitetas . Since 2002, Tebėra has been director of the Forest and Environmental Engineering College in Girionys ( Kaunas district ).

From 1994 to 1998 Tebėra was Vice President and from 1998 to 2002 he was President of the Lithuanian Foresters Association Lietuvos miškininkų sąjunga . He was also a member of the Advisory Council on Forestry at the Ministry of Environment of Lithuania and the Scientific-Technical Council on Forest Management at Valstybinė miškų tarnyba .

Tebėra took part in the 2000 local elections as a candidate for Lietuvos Demokratie partija in the constituency of the Kazlų Rūda municipality.

Tebėra is married and with his wife Marija they have the daughter Živilė and the son Tadas.
