Günther Sante

Günther Sante (born October 5, 1920 in Oldenburg ; † January 7, 1993 ibid) was a German politician ( CDU ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Sante was the son of the Oldenburg ministerial chief inspector and long-time member of the Oldenburg state parliament Wilhelm Sante (1886–1961) and his first wife Maria geb. Effner (1888-1935).

After attending the Oldenburg elementary school and middle school, Günther Sante completed training as a radio mechanic until 1936. During the Second World War , he did military service in the Wehrmacht from 1939 to 1945 . He was taken prisoner by the British. After his release, he worked again in Oldenburg in 1946 in the profession he had learned. In the state of Oldenburg he was involved in building up the CDU.

From April 20, 1947 to April 30, 1951 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (1st electoral period), from March 28, 1951 as a member of the DP / CDU parliamentary group.
