Günther Schönberger

Günther Schönberger (born February 8, 1952 in Graz ) is an Austrian musician , non-fiction author , winemaker and champagne importer . The type of chocolate “Schönberger Rot”, which is produced by the Zotter chocolate factory and sold beyond Europe, is named after him.

Life

From 1978 to 1996 Günther Schönberger was a saxophonist with the Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung (EAV) and was responsible for the stage show. At the end of the 1970s, Schönberger founded the band Ephesus parallel to the EAV , which he managed for a short time. After that, he only focused on the EAV. Due to differences, he left at the beginning of 1996.

Since then, he has dedicated himself to his vineyards and has received further recognitions as a winemaker in addition to awards from Falstaff and Vinaria magazines .
