Rudolf Lantschbauer (born February 4, 1954 in Graz ) is an Austrian publisher, editor, photographer, wine journalist and advertising specialist.

Life

Rudolf Lantschbauer attended the arts and crafts school on Ortweinplatz in Graz from 1968 to 1972 . On March 1, 1973 he was one of the first in Austria to refuse military service to the position commission for military service in the Austrian Armed Forces . On April 1, 1975, the first appointment was to begin civilian service in Austria, when he began his alternative service at the Red Cross in Graz as one of 10 Styrian civilian servants .

Lantschbauer has been working as a freelance advertising specialist since 1976. From 1980 to 1983 he was professional group chairman of the creative graphic designers and advertising designer of the advertising department of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce . From 1989 to 1996 he worked on the development and implementation of the preparatory seminars for the admission test for the advertising agency (advertising consultant and advertising agent ) in Styria, specialist group Advertising Styria. From 1991 to 1996 on the conception, development, planning of teaching content, implementation and teaching design of the graphic design college in the Styrian Economic Development Institute.

As an extraordinary listener, Lantschbauer attended two semesters of media studies at the University of Graz from 1980 to 1981 , four semesters of stage design from 1981 to 1984 at the Graz University of Music and from 1992 to 1993 three semesters of market and opinion research at the Vienna University of Economics and Business .

Based in Graz, Rudolf Lantschbauer founded the Vinothek Verlag in 1985 , which at the same time published the first wine book in Austria. The publishing program includes domestic and international wine and cookbooks and has received numerous awards, most recently the "Goldene Traube" from the Styrian Chamber of Commerce on January 28, 2015. The 54 wine and cookbooks have been translated into seven languages.
