Günther Schuh (born October 3, 1940 ) is a former German football player .

Schuh played for SpVgg 07 Ludwigsburg . In the 1970/71 season Ludwigsburg was level on points with the amateurs of VfB Stuttgart second in the 1st amateur league , which entitled to participate in the promotion round to the then second-class Regionalliga Süd . With his 19 goals this season, Schuh was instrumental in this success. Günther Schuh was also one of the most important players of the 07er in the promotion games themselves. So he scored both goals in the 2-1 win in Rastatt against SV Waldhof Mannheim in the decisive promotion game.

After the promotion to the second highest German division, he moved to the Stuttgarter Kickers together with his teammate and strike partner Wolfgang Holoch . Here he came in the 1971/72 season on 21 missions, in which he scored only one goal.

He is the father of the football player Timo Werner .
