Günther Wörle

Günther Wörle (born October 1, 1949 ) is a German football coach . He coached the women's team of Bundesliga club FC Bayern Munich until the end of the 2009/10 season.

Career

Wörle himself played for the Bayern league club 1. FC Passau and for SSV Ulm 1846 . For family reasons, he turned down an offer from Bayer 04 Leverkusen .

After his active career, he worked as a coach in the Swabia area and was able to lead the teams he supervised to promotion several times. In July 2006 he took over TSV Crailsheim , his first stop in women's football. He was released on December 18, 2007 after announcing his move to Bayern Munich at the end of the 2007/08 season. He led FC Bayern Munich to the German runner-up in 2008/09 . Since February 2011 he has been training the regional division TSV Ziemetshausen .

Private

Günther Wörle is a business graduate who is married and has three children. His daughter Tanja Wörle moved with him at the beginning of the 2008/09 season from TSV Crailsheim to Bayern Munich. His son Thomas Wörle coached the women's team at FC Bayern Munich from 2010 to 2019 .
