Günther Wenck
Günther Wenck (born October 24, 1916 in Döbeln ; † December 7, 1992 ) was a German Japanologist .
Life
After graduating as Dr. phil. In Leipzig on July 11, 1940, he became a lecturer in Japanese studies in 1950 and an adjunct professor of Japanese studies in Hamburg in 1957 . From 1966 to 1979 he taught there as a professor of Japanese studies.
