Maria von Hausswolff (born March 13, 1985 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish camerawoman .

Maria von Hausswolff is the daughter of the artist Carl Michael von Hausswolff . Her younger sister is the musician Anna von Hausswolff . She studied photography at the Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste - Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main . She completed her film studies at Den Danske Filmskole in 2013.

She then stayed in Denmark and was able to establish herself there. After working as a camerawoman for several short films and documentaries, von Hausswolff made her debut in 2016 with the mystery drama Parents directed by Christian Tafdrup as a camerawoman for a feature film. For this work she was awarded a Bodil . Her work for the film drama Vinterbrødre , directed by Hlynur Pálmason , has also received multiple critical acclaim and various awards. Among other things, she was awarded the Camerimage and a Robert for Best Camera .
