Anna Michaela Ebba Electra von Hausswolff (born September 6, 1986 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish singer , pianist , organist and songwriter .

Live and act

Their first single Track of Time was released on February 5, 2010, followed by the debut album Singing from the Grave , which was positively received in Sweden. In 2009 she performed at the Way Out West Festival . In March 2010, Anna was Hausswolff support of the British band Tindersticks , and then toured with Taken by Trees in Brazil. In 2011 she supported Lykke Li , M. Ward and the Royal Dramatic Theater in Stockholm. After that she performed at some music festivals. Anna von Hausswolff is known for her powerful voice and her multi-layered live performances. She is sometimes compared to Kate Bush .

Hausswolff studied architecture at the Chalmers Technical University without a degree. She is the daughter of the artist Carl Michael von Hausswolff . Her older sister is the camerawoman Maria von Hausswolff .
