Gürkan Sermeter (born February 14, 1974 in Wädenswil ) is a former Swiss professional footballer of Turkish origin.
His greatest success was the championship title with the Grasshopper Club Zurich in 1995. He played for seven years with the Bernese Young Boys . He was a crowd favorite with them, even after he moved to Aarau. This change came about because he was not used enough under coach Gernot Rohr . His last position as a professional footballer was at AC Bellinzona in the Axpo Super League and in the Challenge League , where he played from 2008 to 2012.
