Quality association for windows and front doors

The Gütegemeinschaft Fenster und Frontüren e. V. based in Frankfurt am Main is an association of windows - doors - facades - and conservatories manufacturers with RAL quality mark and takes over the awarding of the RAL quality mark for products and installation within this range.

Members

There are around 230 members from all material groups (plastic, wood, metal, etc.) who, according to the Gütegemeinschaft, cover more than 40% of the market - from craft businesses to large international companies.

aims

The aim is to promote the quality of the products and services of its member companies. To this end, the quality and test regulations are constantly being developed further with the quality committee, the board of directors and specialist groups.

Business activity

The basis of the quality assurance RAL-GZ 695 - windows, house doors, facades and winter gardens issued by the RAL umbrella organization are the quality and test regulations, which are constantly adapted to the state of the art and ecological requirements on the basis of the research work of the quality association. Compliance is guaranteed by initial monitoring as well as constant internal and external monitoring with independent testers from the Institute for Window Technology in Rosenheim. After compliance with the quality assurance requirements, the Gütegemeinschaft awards the quality mark for windows, house doors, facades and winter gardens and their assembly.

stand-in

The board of directors authorized to represent consists of Oskar Anders and Bernhard Helbing, who are also the chairmen of the Institute for Window Technology . The managing director is Ulrich Tschorn, who is also managing director of the Windows + Facade Association .
