The Association Window + Facade (VFF), formerly the Association of Window and Facade Manufacturers , based in Frankfurt am Main, is a trade association for the manufacturers of windows , doors and facades as well as their system and trading partners in Germany .
Members
The association represents since 1979 as a pressure group around 400 producers and processors of windows , facades and doors as well as their systems and trading partners. The members represent around 65% of the windows sold in Germany. In 2017, window sales in Germany totaled 14.2 million window units.
aims
The association's goal is to support facade manufacturers and their system and trading partners in competition and to open up new markets for them. Its aim is to give its members a head start in terms of competence and knowledge in terms of product quality and competitiveness. The association serves as a service provider and communication platform for the industry.
Business activity
Lobbying , marketing , VOB & law, statistics & market and standardization & technology are part of the association's activities. The association represents its members in the political process through targeted lobbying. With the provision of marketing campaigns and materials, the members are to be supported in their public relations work. Members receive tips and information on VOB through advice . The association compiles studies and statistics on the German and European window market. The VFF represents the interests of its members at national, European and international level through initiatives on laws and through participation in standardization committees . The basics of business activity are jointly developed by the members in the association's specialist committees. To ensure product quality, the association works closely with the Quality Association for Windows and House Doors and the Institute for Window Technology .
