Quality association locks and fittings
The quality association locks and fittings e. V. , based in Velbert, is the amalgamation of a number of German manufacturers and service providers in the field of locks and fittings and has a RAL quality mark .
The Gütegemeinschaft is an organization for the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance and is authorized to award manufacturers of products and providers of services in the lock and fittings sector the RAL quality mark . The quality mark guarantees the consumer high-quality products and thus creates better orientation when choosing a product. The quality mark users must always adhere to objectively verifiable quality criteria. Therefore, they voluntarily submit to the quality and test regulations as well as quality monitoring. The requirements of the quality guidelines are based on the relevant national and international product standards, but often go beyond them. Regular checks by neutral, recognized test centers are an important component for quality assurance and the use of the quality mark.
The association creates guidelines and publishes technical information. The guidelines are intended to provide assistance in the use of locks and fittings for windows and balcony doors and doors. They are developed with the Association of Locks and Fittings and the Testing Institute for Locks and Fittings (PIV) and coordinated with the VFF Technical Committee and ift Rosenheim as required .
