Mount Burrill is a 2310 m high mountain in Victoria Land , East Antarctica . It rises 6 km south of Mount Hussey at the head of the Hand Glacier on the eastern edge of the Malta Plateau in the Victory Mountains .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him after Meredith F. "Pete" Burrill (1903-1997), executive director of the United States Board on Geographic Names from 1943 to 1973.
