G. Bond is an impact crater on the northeastern front of the moon . It is located south of Hall crater on the southern edge of Lacus Somniorum . The Rima G. Bond moon groove runs to the west and south .

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the American astronomer George Phillips Bond .
