Hall is an impact crater on the northeastern front of the moon . It lies north of G. Bond in the plain of Lacus Somniorum . It has been severely eroded and the crater wall has completely disappeared, especially in the south and west. In the west runs the moon groove Rima G. Bond .

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the American astronomer Asaph Hall .
