The Camping World RV Sales 200 is a car race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series , to be held since the founding of the series in 1995 annually. It will be held on the Milwaukee Mile in West Allis , Wisconsin . When it was first held in 1995, it only covered a distance of 125 miles (201.17 km) and laps. Since 1996, the race distance on the oval has been 200 miles (321.87 km) and thus 200 laps. In 2002 and 2004 there was a green-white checkered finish , which resulted in the distance being extended by a few laps.
From 1995 to 2000, Chicago- based Sears sponsored the race. In 1998 and 1999 the race was called DieHard 200 and thus promoted the DieHard car battery , a product of the Sears company. In the following years the race was sponsored by GNC, Black Cat Fireworks and Toyota , before Camping World , which has increased its NASCAR involvement in recent years and is also the main sponsor of two racing series, took the place of the main sponsor in 2008 of the race.
The first and so far only driver to record his first victory in an important NASCAR division in this race was the later Sprint Cup champion Kurt Busch , who started from pole position in the race of the 2000 season and led 156 laps and finally won too. Johnny Benson won three consecutive races from 2006 to 2008.
