1995 NASCAR SuperTruck Series season

The NASCAR - Super Truck Series season review 1995 began on February 5, 1995 with the Copper World Classic at the Phoenix International Raceway and ended on 28 October 1995 with the GM Goodwrench / Delco Battery 200 at Phoenix International Raceway. It was the first ever season of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Mike Skinner won the Drivers Championship and Butch Miller was named Most Popular Driver .

Copper World Classic

The Copper World Classic took place on February 5, 1995 at the Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale . It was the first ever Craftsman Truck Series race.

Racing Champions 200

The Racing Champions 200 took place on April 8, 1995 at Tucson Raceway Park . Ron Hornaday junior won the race. PJ Jones , who finished second, was three laps back and fought his way forward as the race progressed. The future champion Mike Skinner fell out. It should be his only failure of the season. For the first time in the history of NASCAR there was a “Green-White-Checkered-Finish” in the race , which means that the race was extended for the first time. This rule did not exist in any other series of NASCAR before the founding of the Craftsman Truck Series.
