The NASCAR - Craftsman Truck Series season review 2006 began on 17 February 2006 with the GM FlexFuel 250 at the Daytona International Speedway and ended on 17 November 2006 with the Ford 200 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway . Todd Bodine won the Drivers Championship, Johnny Benson was named Most Popular Driver and Erik Darnell won the Rookie of the Year award .
