GX WebManager Community Edition is a proprietary content management system (CMS) that emerged from WebManager, which enables free access to the CMS platform with a software development kit ( SDK ).
The Community Edition includes a preconfigured website with examples and content. There are demo images and texts that can be changed. The software allows developers to install the complete package (including a database such as MySQL ). The supplied application programming interfaces (APIs or programming interfaces ) can be fully configured and expand the functionality of the website. Furthermore, in an integrated development environment (IDE) based on Java standards ( OSGi ), Spring MVC and Eclipseto be worked. The software itself is based on open standards and technologies such as SOAP , web services , JSR 170/283, BPEL and XML .
