Gabi (Gabriele) Becker is a German television presenter and news anchor .

Life

education

Gabi Becker took acting lessons at the private school "Herzton" in Berlin from 1991 to 1993 and during this time studied at the Free University of Berlin . Between 1992 and 1994 she did a vocal training with Jonathan Kinsler and a speech training. From 1994 to 1995 Gabi Becker completed a traineeship as an editor at the television station Sat.1 .

Professional background

Gabi Becker became a broadcast assistant at Radio Hundert in 1992 , 6 . There she was on the road twice a day over Berlin as a live reporter in a helicopter for a year in 1993. In 1996 she worked as a permanent editor for Sat.1 and reported, among other things, from Tanzania for the aid organization Plan International. Since 1997 she has worked as a spokesperson for the Sat.1 productions Blitz und Blitzlicht and regularly for the television station Deutsche Welle TV . In 2001 she switched to the moderation subject and took over the presentation of the water sports magazine Aqua TV . From 2002 to 2007 she presented the VOX news , produced by Spiegel TV in Berlin. In 2007 she switched to Sat.1 News as a freelance presenter and from 2008 also moderated the N24 news . She has been the presenter of Kabel eins news since 2010 . Since April 3, 2018, she has been moderating the Sat.1 news on Sat.1 breakfast television .

In 2013 Gabi Becker founded her company Cubelin, for which she designs seating furniture.

Others

Becker was a singer with Alphaville and has two children with singer Marian Gold . She has been with the actor Andreas Hofer since 2008 and has another child with him.
