kabel eins news (formerly K1 Nachrichten ) is the news program of the German television station Kabel eins .

history

On June 1, 1997, the starting shot for the full program on Kabel 1 was fired and for this reason the first news program under the title Kabel1 nachrichten was broadcast at 8:00 p.m. The introduction of the news was necessary because since then kabel eins broadcast with the license of a full program . The program was produced in the first few years by the ProSieben news desk, later by the N24 central desk in Berlin. The current title has been used since September 3, 2007.

Broadcast dates

At the beginning, the program was broadcast at 8:00 p.m. in direct competition with the Tagesschau . Due to poor audience ratings, the program was brought forward to 5:05 p.m. After the format was renamed and the appearance and personnel changes, the broadcast date was brought forward again. Now the show runs Monday-Friday at 4:05 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays still at 5:05 p.m. In the meantime, due to changes in the afternoon program of Kabel Eins, the show was moved to 3:50 p.m. In addition, there are one or two short night editions during the week between 1:00 and 4:00 a.m.
