Gabriel Amărăzeanu (born May 6, 1971 in Filiaşi , † May 7, 2006 in Piteşti ) was a Romanian football player .
Athletic career
Amărăzeanu debuted at the age of 17 years for FC Arges Pitesti in the Divizia A . With the club he played against relegation to the second division, which could not be avoided in the 1991/92 season . With 20 goals this season he was the club's top scorer in the following season, but after a serious accident in early 1994 he had to end his active career early. He then worked as a trainer.
