Gabriel Boştină (born May 22, 1977 in Gura Văii , Mehedinți County ) is a former Romanian football player . The midfielder played a total of 324 games in League 1 . In 2005 and 2006 he won the Romanian championship.

Player career

First championship experience gained Gabriel Boştină in the 1997/98 season as he prepares for Severnav Turnu Severin in Divizia C aground. He then moved to Divizia B to Cimentul Fieni , where he helped with his services that the club took a good third place. As a result, the people in charge at Oțelul Gala wurdeni became aware of him, and they signed him up in 1999. He made his debut in Divizia A on July 24, 1999 when he defeated Gloria Bistrița . In 2002 he moved from Oulelul to Steaua Bucharest , where he was twice Romanian champion. After he was still accrued for Steaua on the first day of the 2007/08 season , he moved to Dinamo Bucharest . There he became a regular player. In the summer of 2010 he left the club again and joined the newly promoted Universitatea Cluj . Two years later he ended his career there before he hired CS Turnu Severin in April 2013 . At his new club, however, he was not used and said goodbye to competitive sports at the end of the season.

National team

Boştină completed four international matches for the Romanian national soccer team , the first of which on November 12, 2005 against Ivory Coast . Four days later he started against Nigeria for the first time. During a trip to the USA he came on May 25, 2006 against Northern Ireland for his last mission.
