Gabriel Ruhumbika
Gabriel Ruhumbika (* 1938 in Ukerewe , Tanzania ) is a Tanzanian writer, professor and translator.
He graduated from Makerere University ( Uganda ) and received his Ph.D. at the University of Paris IV ( France ). He has taught at several universities, for example at the University of Dar es Salaam (1970–1985) and at Hampton University (1985–1992).
Since 1992 he has been Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Georgia .
