Gabriela Kohlenberg

Gabriela Kohlenberg (born January 19, 1958 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

After attending school in Nuremberg, Kohlenberg trained as a nurse in Gehrden and continued training as a ward manager. She worked at the Robert Koch Hospital in Gehrden until 1990.

Kohlberg has been a member of the CDU since 1987 . In 1987 she co-founded the women's union Springe. For many years she was chairwoman of the Hanover-Land district association of the women's union. Until 2002 she was chairwoman of the CDU's Springer city ​​association. She is also a member of the board of directors of the Hannover-Land district association. Kohlberg has been represented in the regional parliament of the Hanover region since 2001 . She had been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since 2003 as a direct candidate for the Springe constituency . In the first electoral term she was active in the Committee on Social Affairs, Women, Family and Health, in the following legislative term in the Committee on Budget and Finance and since 2013 in the Committees for Science and Culture and the Election Review Committee, she also belonged to the Presidium and the Council of Elders on. Since 2008 she has been one of the Parliamentary Secretaries.

Gabriela Kohlenberg did not run again for the 2017 state election.

Kohlberg is a member of several associations, including the German Red Cross and the German Alpine Club Hanover. She is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Klinikum Region Hannover GmbH .

She is married and has two kids.
