history

The Oststadt-Heidehaus and Siloah clinics were merged into a common location in the area of today's KRH Klinikum Siloah . The foundation stone for the new building required for this was laid on September 15, 2010. On September 6, 2014, the hospital with 535 beds was opened. The construction costs amount to at least 192.5 million euros.

Planning

As part of the so-called Medical Strategy 2020, the company is to be successfully positioned in the health market in the long term through various measures and at the same time the care of patients in the Hanover region is to be improved.

In September 2015, details about the future of the KRH Kliniken Großburgwedel and Lehrte were announced. A working group of experts has worked out four possible options and recommended that the two existing hospitals be closed in their current form and that a joint new building be built in the northeast of the region. A location has not yet been determined.
