Gabriele Becker

Gabriele Becker (born August 17, 1975 in Marburg , Hessen ) is a former German athlete who was successful as a sprinter in the 1990s .

Her greatest success is the bronze medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the 1995 World Championships (43.01 s, together with Melanie Paschke , Silke Lichtenhagen and Silke-Beate Knoll ).

She achieved further medals in the junior class:

  • 1993, Junior European Championships: 3rd place with the 4 x 100 meter relay (44.60 s)
  • 1994, Junior World Championships: 2nd place with the 4 x 100 meter relay (44.78 s)

Gabriele Becker started for the LAZ Hanau / Bruchköbel from 1986 to 1991 , and from 1992 for the LAZ Bruchköbel . In her active days she was 1.78 m tall and weighed 62 kg.
