Gabriele Sima
Gabriele Sima (born February 25, 1955 in Innsbruck ; † April 27, 2016 in Vienna ) was an Austrian opera singer . She has appeared in both soprano and mezzo-soprano roles.
Life
Gabriele Sima's active international career began in 1979. She became known for her appearances at the Salzburg Festival , the Vienna State Opera and the Zurich Opera House . From the 1982/83 season she was a member of the Vienna State Opera, where she embodied a total of 53 roles in 599 performances. In 1996 she was awarded the professional title of Austrian Chamber Singer .
