Gabriele Theiss

Gabriele Theiss (born September 28, 1959 in Guteborn ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Brandenburg state parliament .

Theiss attended the Polytechnische Oberschule from 1966 to 1976, after which she studied at the Institute for Teacher Education Cottbus in the field of elementary school teachers. From 1980 to 1991 she worked as a pioneer leader. From 1992 to 2010 she was the principal of the Guteborn primary school.

In 1997 Theiss joined the SPD. In 1998 she became a member of the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district council and in the same year honorary mayor of the community of Schwarzbach . On January 3, 2011, she entered the Brandenburg state parliament. She moved up for the resigned MP Rainer Speer . After the state elections in Brandenburg in 2014 , she left the state parliament. From January 6, 2016, until 2019, she was again a member of the SPD in the Brandenburg state parliament for the late Klaus Ness .
