Gaetano Ceschina

Luigi Gaetano Ceschina (born August 15, 1879 - † December 8, 1960 ) was an Italian entrepreneur .

The younger brother of Renzo Ermes Ceschina (1875–1945) initially worked as a sales representative for medicines and surgical articles.

In 1907, he invented an aseptic bandage and started a factory that flourished during wartime. In times of need he bought real estate.

In 1920 he took over Pauly & C. - Compagnia Venezia Murano . In 1925 he financed the Ceschina publishing house for his brother . He had numerous buildings built, such as the Grand Hotel Cesenatico and Grand Hotel Riccione at the end of the 1920s .

In November 1937 he was appointed Cavaliere del Lavoro . He is buried on the Cimitero Monumentale di Milano .
