The Gagge Point is a headland of Lavoisier Island in the group of Biscoe Islands off the west coast of the West Antarctic Graham Lands . It represents the southern extension of the island and marks the northeast boundary of the entrance from Crystal Sound into Lewis Sound .
Aerial photographs of the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1956–1957) were used to map them. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1960 after the American biophysicist Adolph Pharo Gagge (1908-1993), who had studied the effects of cold on the human body.
