Gaius Caecilius Metellus Caprarius was the youngest son of Quintus Caecilius Metellus Macedonicus . He served in 133 BC. BC under Scipio Aemilianus before Numantia . No later than 117 BC He was praetor and in 113 BC he was praetor . Chr. Consul . In that year and in the two following years as proconsul , Caprarius was in Macedonia and Thrace and received a triumph for his military successes in Thrace , which he won in Quintilis (July) 111 BC. Chr. Held; on the same day his brother Marcus Caecilius Metellus also triumphed over Sardinia . Caprarius was 102 BC Together with his cousin Quintus Caecilius Metellus Numidicus censor .
