Gaius Terentius Istra
Gaius Terentius Istra was a statesman of the Middle Roman Republic who came from the plebeian family of the Terenti .
From his official career ( cursus honorum ) it is handed down by the historian Titus Livius that he was 182 BC. BC as praetor administered the province of Sardinia and in 181 BC Together with Gaius Calpurnius Piso and Publius Claudius Pulcher belonged to a college of tresviri coloniae deducendae , which was responsible for the establishment of a Roman citizen colony in the former Etruscan city of Graviscae .
