Gala Évora

Gala Évora (born February 8, 1983 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda , Andalusia ) is a Spanish singer and actress .

Life

Gala Évora comes from a family of artists, the Sanlúcar Évora from Sanlúcar de Barrameda. She was a member of the pop group Papá Levante . Their debut album Tomalacaté was one of the most successful Spanish albums of 2001 with the hits Me pongo colorada and Practicar sexo and sold over 250,000 copies. In 2001, the group was awarded the Premio Ondas as the best Spanish young music group.

Gala Évora had her first leading role in the film Lola, la película (opening film of the 10th Malaga Film Festival ), where she played the role of the adult Lola Flores .
