Gala Galaction (born April 16, 1879 in Dideşti as Grigorie Pişculescu ; died March 8, 1961 in Bucharest ) was a Romanian theologian of the Romanian Orthodox Church , writer and Christian socialist activist . Unlike most of his contemporaries, he called for tolerance towards Judaism. Galaction is assigned to the gemanophile spectrum of Romanian literature.

Galaction studied theology at the University of Chernivtsi from 1904 to 1909 .
