Greggio got on skis for the first time when he was three years old. Four years later she started to race in alpine skiing and in 2011 she also competed in FIS races. At the invitation of the Italian speed ski trainer, she came into contact with speed skiing that same year. Due to her very good performances, she started in the Speed Ski World Cup in the 2012 season . In the first year she achieved 172.4 km / h in the SDH class.
In the following year she won her first world title straight away , in which she also exceeded the 200 km / h mark for the first time. At the Speed Masters in Vars , she set a world record with a speed of 202.576 km / h in the SDH class (here you drive with normal downhill equipment). For the 2014 season she switched to the S1 class and won the first four races of the season.
Dominance of speed skiing
From 2015 Greggio dominated women's speed skiing. She won the World Cup four times in a row and also the 2015 World Championship and 2017 World Championship . Since then she has won all World Cup and World Championship races, apart from two third places. She won the 2016 and 2017 seasons unbeaten.
In 2016 she also beat Sanna Tidstrand's world record to 247.083 km / h.
