Kornfeld Gallery
The Kornfeld Gallery is a gallery for international contemporary art founded in 2011 at Fasanenstrasse 26 in Berlin. Since 2014, the 68projects project space at Fasanenstrasse 68 has been offering an expansion of the gallery program with curated (themed) exhibitions.
history
The Kornfeld Gallery was founded in 2011 by Alfred Kornfeld and his partners Mamuka Bliadze and Anne Langmann - from the Darmstadt Merck / Langmann dynasty. She is a member of the Federal Association of German Galleries and Art Dealers . It should not be confused with the Galerie Kornfeld Auctions in Bern.
The gallery is located on the ground floor of a studio and residential building built in 1892 in the vicinity of the winter garden ensemble in Berlin-Charlottenburg. The converted gallery offers 160 m² of exhibition space in two rooms and a garden that is used for sculptures.
The gallery's artists include Hubert Scheibl , Hubertus Hamm , Alexander Polzin , Franziska Klotz and Christopher Lehmpfuhl .
Act
In the summer of 2014 the gallery opened the project space 68projects at Fasanenstrasse 68 in Berlin-Charlottenburg.
Donald Baechler and Jürgen Klauke are among the artists who exhibited in 68projects . The works that were created as part of the Residence Program will be presented in solo and group exhibitions in 68projects.
